 What Is Eating Green to Me?

EATING GREEN = The primary consumption of green plant-based foods containing chlorophyll, especially leafy green vegetables such as,greenkale

  • Collard Greens
  • Swiss Chard
  • Mustard Greens

  • And many more


Green Superfood Powders

On some occasions, I may supplement my diet with a powdered green drink.  This is often done for convenience.

There are many good super green food powders available.


Juicing Green Veggies

For a very powerful dose of green, juicing green vegetables is also one of my favorites.   Though be aware!

Green juiced drinks are very potent.

Since most of the dietary fiber is removed through juicing.  Your body is getting a direct injection of nutrients that is usually processes much slower with fiber present.


GREEN PLANTS Special Ingredient

Being naturally low fat and less in calories, green plants/vegetables also contain many vital nutrients such as, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, folate (folic acid), dietary fiber and potassium that are essential to proper maintenance of the body leading to overall good health.

One component in green plants/vegetables is of particular interest to me… CHLOROPHYLL!

Chlorophyll is the element that gives green plants their green color.

Chlorophyll is said to be the life blood of plants which grants the green plant the ability to perform photosynthesis, a process where sunlight is converted into chemical energy later to be power released for the organisms activities.

This chemical energy is the fuel used by all organisms on the earth….INCLUDING HUMANS.

So, is it important for humans to consume green plant/vegetables?

I’m feeling a strong answer, “YES!”

One important reason WHY?  You may have guessed. —–> CHLOROPHYLL!



In the book of Bereshit, more commonly known as Genesis, which literally means “in the beginning,” God, the Creator, makes clear the original eating plan for man:

And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. (Bereshit/Genesis 1:29)

Do you think the one who created it all may have a bit of wisdom about what is good for us to eat?

Since chlorophyll receives the light from the sun and turns it into usable energy for living organisms,

COULD IT BE that chlorophyll is the vehicle by which we receive the light of life, of God, of the Creator, of the True Light

LIGHT, the energy that sustains LIFE….Hmmm?!  Just a thought. 😀

Does chlorophyll aid us in receiving, becoming and REVEALING THE LIGHT?…MAYBE…MAYBE NOT.

So ARE  you what you eat?

I’m  not saying you will be closer to God by eating green-based food.

However, is it possible eating more chlorophyll containing foods enhances your ability to receive  THE LIGHT?

Hmmm?….Just my theory.



On my journey to wellness, eating a primarily plant based diet ,with an emphasis on green plants/vegetables, has been a core belief and practice.

With all my heart, I think this has been a crucial ingredient in the transforming of my health.

If you’re not already doing so, I heavily encourage you to EAT YOUR GREENS!

Whatever way is best for you, either green veggies, green powders or green juicing….DO IT!

May you become what you’re eating.  GREENLIGHT!   That’s my personal theory.
